The Welk Resort Theater San Diego announces I DO, I DO! starring Christina Saffran Ashford and Robert Yacko
The Welk Resorts Theater in San Diego, CA announces I DO, I DO starring Christina Saffran Ashford and Robert Yacko which will run from February 4, 2010 to March 7, 2010. ESCONDIDO, CA (January 14, 2010) -- I Do! I Do! takes place entirely in a bedroom dominated by a couple's four poster bed. The story takes them through fifty years of marriage, through happiness and sorrow, through good times and bad, through childbirth, parenthood, and the eventual sadness from the absence of their children. In the end, they face the future together, while remembering their past. I Do I Do runs February 4 - Mar 7 (No TUESDAY shows) features Robert Yacko as Michael; credits include Broadway /Tour: Fiddler on the Roof (w/ Herschel Bernardi); Off- Broadway: Oh, What A Lovely War!, LA & Regional: Parade (Mark Taper) A Little Night Music (Doolittle Theater). Agnes is played by Christina Saffran Ashford whose credits include Broadway: Singin' in the Rain (Kathy Seldon, cast album), A Chorus Line (Maggie), Sophisticated Ladies (Shoo Shoo), Drood (Rosa Bud/Edwin Drood), and The Music Man (Zaneeta). Now enjoy a delicious buffet brunch including lunch and breakfast items. Brunch buffet begins at 10:30am and seating for the show at 12:45pm for a 1pm curtain. This is a different format this year so please note the time change to 1pm. Shows include matinees Wed/Thurs/Sat/Sun and evening shows Thurs/Sat.
