Couples are sure to engage with this intimate, nostalgic look at a happy marriage which is "Lavish with
Love." Jones & Schmidt, creators of the longest-running production in the history of the American stage, The
Fantasticks, have carefully nurtured a story from an earlier play with tuneful, generously charming music.
Michael and Agnes' jubilation, jitters, squabbles, crises and reconciliations all will be on display in this musical
needlepoint sampler. The audience will be able to observe two ordinary people as they grow in love with
each other, aging right in front of us. Ultimately, perhaps, all of us can search the eyes of our own partner and
collectively say, "We Do! We Do!"
