Before Andrew Lloyd Webber's Evita, before The Phantom of the Opera, and even before Cats, there was Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat - a musical about the Old Testament story of Jacob and his twelve sons. It's a tongue-in-cheek, enchanting show with a warm heart featuring a variety of musical styles including 60's pop, calypso, disco, Elvis rock, Parisian cafe and country western among others. It's ridiculous, yet dreamy tone assures that audiences will revel in the lessons of youthful folly. And who doesn't want to dream in technicolor?
